About Us

Minibus Express has been transporting Hamiltonians to and from the Auckland Airport since January 2004. Owners, Neil and Kathy Shaw  have developed the business to where it now has a good reputation as reliable, friendly and affordable. To compliment the service to and from Auckland Airport. Neil and Kathy, also run a local service for Waikato residents to and from Hamilton Airport.

Neil has a background in account management and operational logistics, having worked in the hospitality industry and serving 20 years as a member of the NZ Police. Kathy has a background in the health sector as a registered nurse and more recently an educator and advisor. Both are originally from the Waikato and understand the need for a friendly and reliable service to Auckland Airport.

Staff

The 18+ staff at Minibus are dedicated to providing a high quality service to you, our customers. Our personally & carefully selected drivers distinguish themselves through their standards of presentation, quality of service and knowledge. The entire Minibus team enjoy their work and can be relied upon to service you with care and attention.

Fleet

All our vehicles are maintained regularly and updated regularly. Our fleet includes a modern Hiace Commuter Minibus, new Ford Transit Minibuses which boast our stylish new image, and a Toyota 18 seat coach. Specifically chosen to suit New Zealand roads, we have taken responsibility in assuring passenger awareness with our fleet, offering on-road comfort, security, and most importantly safety.

All our minibus vehicles have been tested to meet strict standards specified in the current passenger vehicle requirements.

All our vehicles provide safety and comfort. The Hiace Commuter and  Ford Transits provide generous legroom and headroom, whilst the 18 seat coach has luxury leather seating and the added bonus of a DVD entertainment system.
